STEP 1: FIND A LOT

Everything starts with a lot. You can build in one of our developments or on your own land.

STEP 3: PICK YOUR OPTIONS

Once a floor plan is chosen, you’ll meet with us to select your options. We refer to ‘options’ as any structural change. For example, you’ll decide between cabinet styles and layouts, counter top materials, and the level of trim package throughout your home. Don’t worry, we’ll examine every aspect of your home so you are comfortable (and maybe even excited!) with the options you chose.

STEP 5: START THE BUILD

Lot assessment? Floor plan? Options and contract? Check, check, check! With those three things done, we can start building your house! We’ll pull permits, arrange for utilities, schedule deliveries, etc… and begin converting your Options Sheet into a house made just for you!

STEP 7: REALIZE YOUR DREAM

It only takes about 14 weeks from the start of mechanical to walking in the front door! That gives you time to confirm all of your selections and make your mark on the home. All that’s left is to fill the home with love and happiness!

With a variety of award-winning floor plans to choose from, Woods Builders has something for everyone. A traditional floor plan with a formal dining room or an expansive open-concept floor plan with plenty of room to breathe — we’ve got what you want.

STEP 4: GET A QUOTE

With a lot purchased, a floor plan and options chosen, we’ll give you your price up front. We will provide an accurate quote and make adjustments together so it matches your expectations. You’ll know what you are getting before you sign the contract. This is the time to finalize structural chances before construction begins.

STEP 6: MAKE YOUR SELECTIONS

The real fun begins now because you’ll meet with our Selections Coordinator to choose colors, textures, materials — all the aesthetic features of the house that make it feel like your home.
